WordPress and Joomla are now being recognized as the premier content management systems in use on the Internet today. Not surprisingly - both are Open Source programs which means you don't have to pay a licensing fee for you to use them.
To increase their appeal and to provide you with a unique user interface, both Joomla and WordPress are powered by themes that control the look and feel of the user experience. In this way, the content of your website and the format of your website are kept separate.
While SBOguide.com is built on the Joomla engine, one of the best and most useful of the themes available for WordPress is Chris Pearson's Thesis 1.6. Thesis 1.6 is currently in use on all of our new WordPress sites. I like it for its design flexibility, its built in SEO tools, and the ease with which you can customize it to meet your needs. |

 Joomla.org has released a new patch to version 1.5. This patch contains numerous bug fixes and two minor security issues involving editing from the front end and a XML File View problem.

I recommend you install this new patch as soon as possible.
